Sheet Thickness Guidelines
We select from certified 100% natural plantation latex sheeting with ultra-low ash content and balanced elongation recovery.
Behavior: Delicate, fluid drape, high skin-conforming translucency.
Applications: Lightweight shirting, gathered ruffles, translucent overlays, inner linings.
Handling: Requires meticulous tension control during bonding to prevent seam stretching.
Behavior: Optimal balance of tensile rebound, durability, and wearable flexibility.
Applications: Catsuits, bodysuits, tailored skirts, fitted trousers, structured dresses.
Handling: The industry standard for bespoke fashion and runway staging.
Behavior: High modulus resistance, sculptural stiffness, holds form independently.
Applications: Structured trench coats, corsetry channels, architectural belts, protective gaiters.
Handling: Requires bevel-skived overlap joints to reduce seam thickness.
Transparency & Finishes
Opaque Solids
Deep light absorption with smooth, saturated color. Classic midnight black, deep oxblood, and clean architectural tones.
Translucent Smoke
Partial light transmission revealing body contours and internal structural seam allowances as architectural lines.
Surface Conditioning
• Chlorinated / Halogenated: Micro-smooth, non-sticky molecular surface. Glides on dry without talc or dressing aid.
• Silicone Luster: High-sheen liquid gloss for lookbooks and staging.
• Natural Matte: Powdered velvet matte finish.
Batch & Pigment Consistency
Color availability depends on material supplier and production batch. Natural latex pigments can show micro-variations between mill rolls.
